Lubricant / Capacity Notes

a. Oil viscosity options:- 0W-20, 0W-30, 5W-20 & 5W-30 oils are special synthetic oils without VI improvers.
b. Caterpillar list API CH-4 and API CI-4 as preferred oils and API CG-4 as an acceptable alternative. These oils must meet Caterpillar's ECF-1 specification to avoid reduced engine life. API CF-4 should not be used in Caterpillar diesel engines
c. Hydraulic tank/Power train tank
d. Hydraulic systems viscosity options: -40°C to 40°C, 0W-30 or 0W-20; -30°C to 30°C, 5W-30 (special synthetic oils without VI improvers); -25°C to 10°C, 5W-20; -20°C to 40°C, 10W or 10W-30; -15°C to 50°C, 15W-40; 10°C to 50°C, 30
