| b. | Viscosity selection criteria: Optimum viscosity, 60 cSt at operating temperature. Viscosity to remain between 50-110 cSt. at operating temperature; max cold temp peak, 110-200 cSt; min hot temperature peak, 30-50 cSt. Monograde oils are preferred but multigrades can be used if viscosity criteria cannot be met in prevailing operating conditions. ISO viscosity grade according to oil operating temperature; 12°C to 26°C, 32; 21°C to 32°C, 46; 29°C to 42°C, 68; 40°C to 51°C, 100; 48°C to 59°C, 150. Synthetic oils for temperatures below -20°C. Biodegradable & environmentally compatible oils recommended to ISO 15380. |
