Lubricant / Capacity Notes

a. Use DIN HLP for piston pumps and all applications at operating pressures over 200 bar. Mobile plant applications may use heavy duty SAE 10/20/30 engine oils of appropriate viscosity - refer to manufacturer's individual specification details
b. Viscosity grade selection criteria: recommended viscosity range at operating temperature 20 - 100 cSt.; maximum 800 cSt. (2000 cSt. for short period during start up); minimum permitted 12 cSt. Recommended operating temperature range 40° - 90°C
c. Recommended cleanliness standard; varies according to application. Generally for pumps and valves; NAS 1638 class 9/ISO 4406 18/15 above 160 bar, NAS 1638 class 10/ISO 4406 19/16 below 160 bar
d. Fire resistant fluids type HFA/HFB/HFC/HFD are acceptable. Manufacturer uses the CETOP coding system and should be consulted for information on speed/pressure de-rating and suitability of individual pumps/motors
e. 40°C to 80°C
